An alleged leaked GTA 5 bug log from Rockstar contains several references to the GTA 5 PC version suggesting the GTA 5 PC version is currently being worked on.

Despite people being almost certain that GTA 5 PC version is coming sometime in 2014, Rockstar has not announced anything official about the GTA 5 on PC. However, an alleged leaked bug report appears to confirm that the publisher is certainly working on the PC game.

Among several references to the PC, the bug log was spotted by PC Gamer and mentioned both 32 and 64 but OS with notes also on DX11. A March 2014 release date has been mooted previously for the PC version of GTA 5 as some retailers listed the GTA 5 on PC for March 18 release date.

The leaked 150-page bug report for Grand Theft Auto 5 will reveal over 170 references to the Grand Theft Auto 5 PC version, including those in June 2012. It was also speculated that the circulation has been there since September 2013 but was just recently hosted temporarily and publicly on a Google Drive account. Excerpts included a "lastgen" toggle, DX11 effects and instances of PC-specific crashes that require some ironing out.

There was a petition to bring the Grand Theft Auto 5 to PC currently crossing 650,000 signatures. As early as now, it is worth remembering that every main Grand Theft Auto game has eventually made it to PC with the franchise opting for staggered PC releases since Grand Theft Auto 3. Grand Theft Auto 5 was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013 and made $1 billion in three days. It has sold out 29 million copies since then.

The bug log's authenticity was lent credence by detailed references to proprietary Rockstar management systems and annotations from the staff. This was only the latest in a series of rumors suggesting that Rockstar's latest version will grace the PC sooner or later.

AMD has already mentioned a GTA 5 in a driver update while industry and retail sources have repeatedly announced the PC launch is expected to arrive in early 2014. It is difficult to tell but the choice of menu options and mouse movement show that it probably isn't real.
