The Evad3rs have recently announced on Twitter that iOS 7 jailbreak 7.x Untether 0.3 update is now available via Cydia. The Evad3rs have been making several announcements on their official Twitter page since the Christmas time release that surprised the tech industry.

Many in the tech community anticipated a 2014 release and already passed off a 2013 release with a few days left in the year. While the Evad3rs remained quiet and nobody was foreseeing a holiday release, they actually did.

Recently, the jailbreak developers fixed an issue plaguing users who were on iPad minis and iPads, but things appear to be going smoothly. The Evad3rs are at the 1.0.4 update now and users can expect more changes as the 2014 calendar year progresses.

For those who haven't downloaded the jailbreak yet, all they need to do is head to evasi0n.com. According to the Web site, it should not take longer than around 5 minutes. The steps need a computer and iTunes, iOS device and USB cable. The only thing you need to do is keep the device plugged in. The Web site ensures to inform the people that over-the-air (OTA) updates cause problems and the best thing is to remember to complete the jailbreak exactly as indicated on the Web site.

The evasi0n7 1.0.4 was released to fix important security problems and the reboot loop issues of Retina iPad mini. The description of the firmware said the two security issues have been resolved but further details were not provided.
