Specs for Google’s next generation Nexus phone built by Huawei have been revealed. Earlier reports suggested that Google will launch two new big screen Nexus phones. One phone could be made by LG Electronics which also made Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 and the other could be manufactured by Huawei. The China-based company has been successful in the home markets and other countries with low cost smartphones.

The disclosed details by known leaker Evan Blass, suggest that Huawei Nexus would sport a 5.7-inch QHD (Quad High Definition) screen with a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution and a metal body as reported by CNET. The phone is supposed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor and could feature fingerprint scanner. The phone is expected to be shipped in the fourth quarter of this year. According to BGR, previous speculations indicated that the next Nexus may be powered by Google’s Android M and sport a 5.7-inch QHD display. The two main Android M features include fingerprint sensors which is essential for mobile payment and fast-charging USB-C ports.

As reported by CNET, the other Google Nexus made by LG would be powered by Qualcomm's 64-bit, hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor similar to that of LG G4 with a 2700mAh battery. The Huawei made handset is supposed to house a 3500mAh battery. According to Android Headlines, LG is reportedly working on the smaller Nexus which would sport a 5.2-inch display. This would be the first time when Google will release two Nexus phones at the same time following the trends of Apple launching iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus – one with relatively small screen and the other with larger display to cover a wide range of potential users.
