‘GTA Online’ Tornado Week starts, kicks off with new Sumo maps, Tornado Custom and new discounts

Rockstar Games is kicking off the week as the “GTA Online” Tornado Week. This marks the arrival of the Tornado Custom update at Benny’s Original Motorworks, as well as other new features and events.

Over at the official Rockstar Newswire, the developer announced the arrival of the Declasse Tornado Custom to the spring inventory. It can be upgraded via Benny’s, alongside different designs and Livery choices.

SUMO mode is also going to experience a refresh as two new maps are already available. “GTA Online” players can choose between the Sumo V, which is situated at the top of the SS Bulker, while the other map, Sumo VI, is on the roof of Sightings Bar & Restaurant at the airport. It’s massive destruction and chaos ahead with the two new SUMO maps.

Alongside this week’s event are Double RP chances in some Sumo Adversary Modes. Starting April 5, Street Races will be available for Double RP, while April 6 and 7 will have another set of Jobs also for Street Races.

A few more discounts are up for grabs for those who are looking to get some design upgrades for cars and weapons. A 25 percent discount for some modifications at Benny’s Original Motor Works and Los Santos Customs, as well as up to 15 percent off on all 10-car garage properties, good for those who are planning to add to the Tornado Custom coming in

Finally, weapons-wise, there’s a 30 percent discount available for the Machete and the Machine Pistol. The same amount of discount is also available for any of the Lowriders clothing.

Capping off the event on April 7 is a livestream face-off featuring LOGIC. Rockstar Games announced via Twitter that the “GTA” fan will play alongside FaZe Clan’s Rain, Adapt and Blaziken, as well as Rhymestyle and AfroSenju. This is a little side trip for Logic, who will be reportedly performing at Terminal 5. The pit stop will be at Rockstar NYC for the livestream.

The stream will be held on April 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET. These can be viewed either via Rockstar Games’ Twitch or YouTube channels.
