Batman: Arkham Origins has been enjoying a fairly good run as the third installment of the acclaimed Batman Arkham game series. While there have been hesitations as to whether Batman: Arkham Origins can stand up to its predecessors (it's the first game to that has not been made by veteran Rock Steady), it has proven its worth as an addition to the franchise.

However, that's speaking for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC version of the game. Recent reports have pointed to the fact that the Wii U version pales in comparison to other platforms. Nintendo Life reports that the lagging performance of Batman: Arkham Origins puts it in a very tight position and not a good one when compared to other platforms.

Eurogamer has also created a side-by-side comparison of the two versions, first looking at the graphics and seeing that the picture is just not the same. It may be due to the console's inability to handle AI, physics-based action and even the speed in exploring the open world.

It does not help that there is no online multiplayer for the Wii U version. If you own the Xbox 360, PS3 or a PC, there is the Batman: Arkham Collection, which has all three games in one bundle. Each platform version has its own special freebie, and the Batman: Arkham Collection is set to release on December 4 in Australia at either $89.95 for the PC or $99.95 for the Xbox 360 or the PS3.

Battlefield 4 crashes to get fixed

Adding to one of the early critics of the PS4 is the unrelenting crash incidents that Battlefield 4 players have experienced when playing the game in the new console. But with the first week for the PS4 now well over, DICE has channeled its efforts into coming out with a fix for the crash reports.

VG 24/7 reports that the developers of Battlefield 4 are already working on the PS4 crash fix to make the game more stable. "We are aware of the frequent crashes in Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4. We are hard at work identifying these issues and are hoping to get a game update out early next week. Stay tuned for more details as we can confirm them, and thanks for your patience!" said developers on the official forums.

Even the Xbox 360 and the PC version of the game are also getting updates, with the former already on final testing mode, which may mean that it will come earlier than the PS4 stability patch. As for the PC version, the fix is still undergoing some work in order to resolve more issues in the game.
