The evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak release date may have to wait until after Oct. 22. The said date marks the next big event for Apple, Inc. Many mobile tech news followers are convinced at least one of the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 will be launched in this press event. Evad3r @planetbeing hints why the release of the next iPads are crucial to the developers.

"Even if we manage to make everything work, the time for a release must be chosen carefully," evad3r @pimskeks said on Twitter on Oct 4. The tweet is part of an "evasi0n Twitterverse" on the team's progress in gathering all the pieces for the iOS 7 jailbreak.

Again, and like usual, we can't give a release date for the iOS 7 jailbreak. We can run into different troubles... No idea.

Asked if evad3rs are considering iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 release dates, evad3r @pod2g told idesigntimes.com the iOS hackers "usually think about that when we have something ready."

When is the release date for evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak?

"It's too early to worry about actual release date issues yet since we have no idea what kind of implementation challenges we might run into that might significantly skew the schedule," @planetbeing explained to idesigntimes.com.

Evad3r @planetbeing finds it amusing that when it comes to releasing updates on iOS 7 jailbreak, there is no right approach. He said:

"(For a while), people assumed there was never going to be a jailbreak and all the hackers were lying in a pile defeated somewhere. Now I've said something positive, and people are assuming it'll be out in a few days."

The remarks explain why @pimskeks made it clear in the above tweet that the evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak won't arrive that soon. Another evad3r, @pod2g, was very clear on his tweet the first week of October: "Don't expect a jailbreak next week people."

Testing the evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak on iPhone 5S is OK, but the new iPads?

Evad3r @pod2g has earlier announced he has just bought an iPhone 5S, the new Apple flagship phone. He did not say he's using it to test evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak, but he can - if he wants to.

Testing a new jailbreak on iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 now is the problem. This is where the evad3rs are blind to "implementation challenges." The evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak has to be tested in all the new devices on the new Apple OS.

Evad3rs @pod2g and @pimskeks were recently in a hackers' conference in Malaysia. They are expected to regroup with @musclenerd and @planetbeing online as they presumably prepare for Apple's Oct. 22 event.

Some jailbreakers are hopeful the evad3rs will release evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak as soon as Oct. 22 or 23. This would send the message to Apple that it has failed yet again to block the hackers. As for iOS hacker @planetbeing, the message is simply this: It is "possible to release a jailbreak eventually."
