The Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC, is running out challengers for undefeated women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey that talks of finally pitting her against Invicta FC 145-lbs. champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino are gaining some steam. Rousey and Justino are considered the top women of the mixed martial arts world but weight conditions and history of performance enhancing drug use have derailed any potential super fight.

Just last week, “Rowdy” again brought up the topic of PED use when discussing Justino by saying that her challenger can only make the required 135-lbs. featherweight class if she was clean. She basically labelled the Brazilian fighter a cheater and advised her to learn how to fight fair and do what toher women in sport do - get in the ring without any undue advantage.

The recent comments were slammed by Justino’s manager George Prajin who called the latest remarks as “old and reckless.” He pointed out that his ward has taken 10 random drug tests in the past three years and all results turned out negative. In her latest first round victory over Charmaine Tweet last Feb. 27, Justino was again subjected to rigorous testing and all three random pre-fight tests yielded negative results.

"The one thing I do want to say on record is that the accusations of her being on steroids -- come on, it's old," Prajin told ESPN.

While the proposed fight between Rousey and Justino has some possibility after UFC CEO Lorenzo Ferttita confirmed that the UFC is talking with Justino’s camp to bring about a match, both Rousey and “Cyborg” have some commitments to resolve in the next few months. The 28-year-old Rousey will be taking some time off in the Octagon after agreeing to her next action film with famed director peter Berg.

Justino, on the other hand will again try to make the 135-weight. The last time the bulky fighter tried to go down to the target class, she suffered a serious ankle injury that held her back from her supposed debut at featherweight last December 2014. Justino’s camp claims that any attempt to shed some weight and still leave their talent operate at a premium level will at least require 9 months to a full year of dedicated workout.

In the meantime, Justino and Rousey’s camp have not hit the brakes on the long-standing trash talking with Rousey’s mum, Dr. AnnMaria De Mars doing the retaliation for her daughter when Justino brought up the topic of a fight. When Justino tagged Rousey in a latest tweet asking her is she needed Lorenzo’s number, de Mars quickly responded with “135” referring to the weight Justino has to make to steamroll any talks of a fight.
