The last episode of "Castle" Season 7, "Time of Our Lives," saw Rick Castle and Kate Beckett finally exchanging their wedding vows. In the new episode, which is scheduled to air on Monday night, the husband and wife are heading to dude ranch to solve a murder mystery. This case will want them to work undercover as newlyweds. As Castle and Beckett cannot go on an actual honeymoon, an Old West-style resort is set to become their work honeymoon location.

The episode 7 is titled "Once Upon a Time in the West." This episode's murder victim may have been poisoned at the Old West-style resort, according to the synopsis of the episode. Castle and Beckett go to the resort, "posing as newlyweds to uncover the truth."

Before they go, they have to break the news to their friends about their impromptu wedding ceremony. Only Beckett's father, Martha and Alexis saw Beckett and Castle tie the knot. In one of the sneak peeks released of the Monday night episode, Lanie is seen telling Beckett and Castle, "I'm your maid of honour. I haven't had carbs in months, just in case I put that damn dress back on. You owe me dinner. I'm picking the restaurant and ordering all the desserts." However, she soon reveals that it is just an act and she is happy that Beckett and Castle got married. She can be seen hugging Beckett.

In another sneak peek, Beckett and Castle are sitting under the open sky and there is a horse-drawn carriage nearby. Beckett can be seen telling Castle: "may be this is our honeymoon." She can also be seen unbuttoning her shirt. Castle too starts to unbutton his jacket. But, the arrival of a snake interrupts their amorous moment. Beckett fires her gun to stop the snake from biting Castle. This leads to the horses galloping away with the carriage and their stuff. Castle has named the horses Ryan and Espo.

Meanwhile, Stana Katic, who plays Beckett, has said on Twitter that if she ever got married, she would like to have an intimate wedding, not a small wedding or a big wedding.
