"Castle" is returning on Monday night to air episode 11 of Season 7. The new episode, which is titled "Castle P.I.," will see Rick Castle and his wife Kate Beckett working on the same case but not together. As he got fired from the 12th precinct in the mid-season finale, Castle will work hard to get the private investigator license so that he can continue to investigate cases. However, Beckett has no clue about that.

'... I'm no longer Richard Castle, ordinary citizen. I'm now Richard Castle, private investigator," Castle can be seen saying in the sneak peek video of "Castle" episode 11. The sneak peek reveals that Beckett was unaware that Castle got his P.I. license. "You got your P.I. license, without telling me," a surprised Beckett says in the clip.

Castle may have become the private investigator but the doors of 12th precinct are still closed on him. In the sneak peek, Beckett can be seen telling Castle that he may have got the P.I. license but the DA will still not allow him to investigate with Beckett's team. This does not stop Castle, as he has every intention to do his own parallel investigation alongside Beckett's. He is legally entitled to investigate the case and that, too, on behalf of his mysterious client.

Castle probably does not have any client, as he does not reveal the identity of his client, calling it confidential. Beckett tells him to leave the crime scene, as the case is closed for him. Castle does not protest much and can be seen leaving the crime scene, saying "That's fine, I've already seen that I need to hear anyway. I'll conduct my investigation, elsewhere." He does not tell Beckett "Where" as that information, according to him is confidential, too.

As previously reported, Castle will be a novice when it comes to doing investigation like a private investigator, as he has no previous experience in that. And, he is not going to be successful, initially. However, Castle and Beckett will be working on the same cases. It is Beckett's team versus Castle in the upcoming episodes.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly has reported that 3XK is returning. Michael Mosley is set to reprise his role as the dangerous serial killer in the two-parter, scheduled to air in February.
