Two bears were seen fighting in a suburban street in New Jersey. A video was captured of it and uploaded on YouTube with the title, "Bear Fight Rockaway NJ Aug 14, 2014." The video was captured last August 14 but was published last October 30 by YouTube user, "TheTubeUser86."

According to Inquisitr, the bear fight took place in Rockaway between two massive black bears on a residential street. It happened in a place in New Jersey that was situated exactly between two state wildlife preserves, Wildcat Ridge State Wildlife Management Area and Valley View Woods. The bears were wrestling and even striking the other with blows.

A person passing by the street captured a video of it which was six minutes long from the safety of his car. The video that he captured was a little shaky though. Animal experts said that brawls usually take place between two male bears because of rivalry over a female bear. They also said that black bears didn't usually get vicious unless and until they were frightened, provoked or hungry.

The report noted that usually bears do not mix with humans because the bears are afraid that they might get shot. This particularly brawl took place in front of a person's lawn where the one of the bears tumbled down a set of stairs. Following the fall, the two bears start fighting and then the fight continued on the street. The bears continued the fight even as the cars passed by them.

YouTube user "J Domalski" initially posted the video on YouTube last October 14 and it received about 175,000 in a matter of just 15 days. It was also showered with about 340 comments. The other video uploaded by "TheTubeUser86" garnered about 800,500 views and 356 comments in just 4 days.

The comments on both the videos involved harsh comments as well in which people criticised the way that the video was shot. A YouTube user, "Andrew R McCloskey," in support of the person who shot the video, said that it wasn't every day that a bear fight was seen on the roads and capturing it in any manner was an achievement. He challenged the ones criticising it go shoot a good video of such a scenario.
