Good news for fans of Michael Jackson who are still grieving his demise. A clone of the dead star may be among us very soon as he had reportedly cloned himself before his untimely death.

The King of Pop died suddenly in 2009 due to Propofol intoxication, which left many music lovers and fans grieving his demise. Author Michael C. Luckman has revealed the same claim in his book. As per him, the pop icon paid hefty amounts to European scientists who were involved in the research of cloning at that time.

During the last years of his life, the pop icon wanted a replica of himself and had tried everything to achieve the same. ''Michael wanted this happen, and spent time and money trying to achieve his goal", said the author. All these information were disclosed to the author by the celebrity fashion designer Andre Van Pier, who was considered a close colleague and friend of the late singer and his sister.

It was Van Pier who first introduced the concept of cloning and futuristic experiments to the pop star. Jackson then reportedly got really interested and enthusiastic about the concept, especially after the successful cloning of Dolly, the sheep. He was even more encouraged following the news of the first human cloning making news everywhere, which was later proven as a hoax.

Jackson desperately wanted a clone of himself to be made in order for someone to carry on with his music and legacy even after his death. To make his wish a reality, he had even made safe deposits of his sperm in three different medical laboratories across the world.

Luckman has recently finished his book 'The Battle of Michael Jackson's Soul', which featured a detailed narration of the pop star's obsession about cloning himself for the future. The author believed quite strongly that in honouring the wishes of the dead star, work could possibly be in progress for replicating another Michael Jackson. Meanwhile, another conspiracy theory is gaining ground, which claims that the pop icon is still alive and faked his own death to escape his crazy celebrity life, as told by the Mirror.
