Apple: Bondi Store opening on iPad day
A public grand opening of an Apple Retail Store will be held by Apple on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction on 28 May, which is the day iPad tablet becomes officially available for sale in Australia.
The retail store has been under weighty guarding during its construction and is said to be atrium-designed.
The Bondi store is thought to have a great view of greeneries, trees, and Apple Geniuses roving around under a spread-out glass rooftop.
Apple hyped the new retail store to be the best place to learn about the new iPad that will also be launching on the same day as the grand opening.
Due to popular demand in Australia, it is still uncertain if the iPad will be sold promptly in stores, with the pre-order next shipments on 7 June.
Other Mac products like the MacBook with the new NVIDIA graphic processor and the improved MacBook Pro; iPod Touch and iPhone 3GS can also be purchased.
Personal Training (Mac) sessions, personalised set up and file transfers from old computers, and Personal Project support for $129 inclusive of GST will also be offered for those who purchase a Mac at the Apple store.
