“Little Miss Sunshine” star Abigail Breslin took to her Tumblr to post a lengthy message ranting the unfair criticisms Selena is getting over her recent bikini pictures when she looks amazing. She added that the media’s coverage of Selena’s pictures only makes normal girls feel bad about themselves and have body image issues.

Breslin questions how the media can lambast Selena Gomez’s body in a bathing suit when there is nothing wrong with her. On her Tumblr, Breslin poured out her feelings and claimed that it is “ridiculous” that Selena is being dissed when she did nothing but look amazing on a bikini while having fun at the beach with her friends. She said that this just goes to show that Hollywood has unrealistic standard of beauty and normal girls around the world would just grow up feeling bad about themselves thinking they could never satisfy the standard. She blames such fat-shaming coverage as the reason why some girls develop eating disorders. "How are young girls supposed to grow up normally and not feel bad about themselves and not develop eating disorders if it's literally national headline news that a THIN girl may or may not have put on a few pounds and YET still remains THIN?," she asked.

Apart from ranting about the media, she also called for people to be genuinely nice to each other. She said people should just spend more time making each other feel good about themselves because that would certainly lead to a better place for all to live in. She also praised the former Disney star and told her to “keep rocking those bikinis.”

Just recently, Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend posted some pictures of her in revealing bikinis on her social media account and show how much fun she is having vacationing at the beach. This made people notice that she has more ample assets now than before and looks as if she gained weight. The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star knew that people are talking about her weight so she immediately posted a positive message about loving herself. Hollywood Life reports that this is just a front. Reportedly, the young star is really upset and her self-esteem has dipped because of the negative comments about her weight gain.
