3 Evidences That Google Nexus 5 Release Date is Coming Soon
Google Nexus 5 may be released sooner than later as various evidences that proved the imminent release date of the device.
There is no clear release date for Google Nexus 5. However, the latest concept image of the device shows off amazing specs and features.
In a new concept, the Nexus 5 shows the handset as having a display that is 5 inches and this is edge to edge. The handset comes with 5-inch Full HD screen display; 4G LTE connectivity; Snapdragon 800 processor; speakers on the front and a notification light on the bottom; expandable memory via microSD slot, 13 megapixel rear camera; 4GB of RAM and a 3140mAh battery.
The new concept was based on the rumours that roamed the Internet before. Initial reports claimed that the Internet giant Google is set to release an updated LG Nexus 4 with larger internal storage and LTE Radio. The Google Nexus 4 was criticized, as it lacked an LTE radio and the ability to support micoSD card for memory expansion.
Other reports stated that the company is bound to release the successor of LG Nexus 4 coined as Nexus 5 is rumoured to sport a 5-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080) display translating into a pixel density of 440ppi. The device is also speculated to be equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with 2GB of RAM, 8/16GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera.
Other rumoured specs of the Nexus 5 include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor that possesses a clock rate of 2.3GHz. The CPU finds assistance in 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Storage options are provided in the form of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. Adding to the list of these highly questionable details is a 3300mAh Li-polymer battery, under the hood.
There is also a rumour that Google Nexus 5 will be released in October, which is almost a year after the release of the Nexus 4 made by Google.
Below are the three proofs that Google Nexus 5 is coming soon.
Nexus 4 Stocks Decline - Numerous reports claimed that LG Nexus 4stocks start to dwindle down that suggests the imminent release of Google Nexus 5. Many noticed last week that the special white edition of the Nexus 4 was removed from the Google Play Store and then one of the UK's biggest retailers, Carphone Warehouse (CPW) has removed the Nexus 4 from its website.
Nexus 5 Benchmark Spotted - A new benchmark over at AnTuTu is thought to be that of a new Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie handset. This is a handset that has been much talked about for a long time and now we hear rumours that say the device called the 'Google X' will be the first to run Android 5.0.
AT&T Exclusivity Leak - AndroidAndMe have said that the X Phone will be coming out in August and that it will arrive first at AT&T, who will have it exclusively for 3 months. If you are with any other carrier, the bad news is that you will have to wait until November to get your hands on the device. This is very similar to what we saw with the Sprint Nexus 4G and the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus which arrived many months after their GSM counterparts.
