Wedding plans are apparently still on hold for former One Direction member Zayn Malik and his fiancée Perrie Edwards. The Little Mix singer recently shared how her busy schedule is conflicting with her time to sit down with Zayn and talk about their wedding.

According to Hello Magazine, Perrie Edwards has been so focused on her music career that she has yet to find the time to plan her wedding with Zayn Malik. She recently also confirmed with The Sun that there’s no wedding date set yet since she is currently tied with promoting Little Mix’s new single.

"I don't know when the wedding will be,” she said. "We're still planning it but I'm so busy with Little Mix now Black Magic is coming out,” she added.

Edwards said she and Zayn Malik are just waiting for the right time to discuss their wedding preparations. Apparently, Perrie doesn’t want to rush the wedding plans when she said, "Me and Zayn want it to be perfect, so as soon as I have a bit of time we'll plan it.”

Now that Zayn Malik is out from One Direction he has a lot of free time to spend with his fiancée. Perrie revealed how he and Zayn spend most of their time in the kitchen and also complimented him for being a “great chef.”

Zayn Malik left One Direction in March to be out of the spotlight and to live the life of a normal 22-year old. But according to Liam Payne he left because he had trouble balancing his hectic touring schedule with his personal life. Payne once said on his Twitter post that Zayn had quit the band so he could spend more time with Perrie Edwards and his family.

However, per One Direction songwriter Jamie Scott, Zayn Malik’s exit had nothing to do with Perrie Edwards. He reportedly quit because “he’s had enough.” The constant touring reportedly took its toll on the singer and he finally realised that he wanted out. According to Mirror UK, Scott told The Sun that because of the tours the boys were rarely home with their families. “People want it to be complicated and have secret reasons but that is what it was,” he said.
