The June 10 episode of “The Young and the Restless” will see Phyllis coming to terms with the truth, while Ashley feels trapped. One member of the production team is also leaving the show.

This episode showcases the characters Summer Newman (Hunter Haley King), Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni), Billy Abbott (Burgess Jenkins), Bethany (Chrishell Stause), Dylan (Steve Burton), Paul (Doug Davidson), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Hillary Curtis (Mishael Morgan).

It is said that Billy wants Phyllis to confess to Jack. He wants her to come clean. Also, Ashley feels like she is backed into a corner and has no other way out. Then, the episode would also show Hillary getting Jack’s attention, Soaps She Knows said.

In other YR news, someone has been recently fired from the production of “The Young and the Restless”. Speculations the past weeks said that a veteran show runner would be going out of the show. Now, it has been confirmed that Jill Farren Phelps is leaving, Day Time Confidential reports.

Phelps is known to be one of the most despicable soap opera executives among this genre’s enthusiasts. Despite her reputation, it seems that she still has a job waiting for her outside the show, even if she left. However, is seems it is not the case this time around. In fact, Steve Kent of Sony Pictures, who has been her friend since the 80’s, is fine with the termination. Hence, fans should not expect to see her show up in another of Sony’s production, “Days of Our Lives.”

Fans reportedly hate Jill Farren Phelps so much that they actually created a Twitter party for her to express their dislike. The said party trended last week. The news of her soon firing has been speculated ever since another executive producer expert Mal Young joined the team for a supervising producer position.
