A new Xiaomi Mi 4 variant has been spotted at TENAA certification body in China. The handset carries the Xiaomi Mi 4c moniker. The same handset was also spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks running midrange specs.

According to Phone Arena, the purported Xiaomi Mi 4c features a 5 inches display with support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It produces a pixel count of 441 ppi.

The Xiaomi Mi 4c will be the first ever handset from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to come with Snapdragon 808 chipset. It is the very same chipset that powers the LG G4 flagship.

The Snapdragon 808 SoC features a hexa-core processor that produces a clocking speed of 1.4 GHz. It also includes Adreno 418 graphics. The SoC is coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

The internal storage available on the device is 16 GB. The handset will not be featuring a microSD expansion slot. It will be housing a 13 MP camera on its rear whereas the front will be featuring a 5 MP selfie shooter.

The Xiaomi Mi 4c will be preloaded with the most recent Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS that will be overlaid with the Xiaomi MIUI 7 software. It will be coming with support for 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and v4.0 Bluetooth.

GSM Arena adds that device will be powered by 3,100 mAh capacity battery. It adds the dimensions of the Xioami Mi 4c is same as that of Xiaomi Mi 4i that was released recently.

As of this writing, there is no official information available on the pricing and release date of Xiaomi Mi 4c. However, recent leaks suggest that the handset will be announced soon.

Xiaomi is heavily rumored to be working flagships, Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi5 Plus. According to Xiaomi Today, the Xiaomi Mi5 was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks with a remarkable score of 73,075.
