From four chair challenge, Simon Cowell continues to find ways to pull more excitement on Fox reality show. Second month into Season 3 of "The X-Factor U.S.A." and things get wilder week after week. The show’s creator, Simon Cowell hinted another change to come into play and one that he sure the audience will love and a reason for them to tune in before the winner is announced around Christmas this year.

The new plan he called “wild card twist,” is a great early Christmas gift however, for contestants who failed to impress America and the audience the first time.

From four chair challenge, Simon is set to introduce a new twist to keep the audience coming.

Here are the top things you should know about Cowell’s “wild card twist”:

1. Simon wants to keep talents kicked out of the show
The British mogul sure does not want to put talents to waste and those who had already been kicked out of the show will be given another chance to prove what they got and another chance at million dollar prize and record contract.

"You never let great talent go. Pauline's top 4 would not have been my top 4," Simon began in a message he posted on Twitter.

2. The audience decides who will go back on the show
Explaining the mechanics of his new plan, Simon said that the audience will play a major role to make it happen. The members of the audience are the key players to decide who they believe deserve to hold the microphone in front of millions of audience.

"If we did this. You guys not us would make the decision. Will keep you posted. I would love it to happen." Simon says.

3. Simon made the decision from audience’s comments
The soon-to-be-dad reveals that the audience is the brain of the new plan. Taking queue from the suggestions they left on their comments, Simon said that the wild card twist sprung from what the audience thinks is best for the show - - a welcome one for Simon who could be in trouble if the ratings of "The X-Factor U.S.A. 2013" does not pick up before the end of Season 3.

"I think you will enjoy the show. Thanks for all your comments. Both the bad and the good," Simon noted.

Has Simon Cowell actually run out of ideas that he has the audience to thank for his new plan?

The British mogul however, promised to make it happen and vowed that they are in for a real treat.

"I will do my best to make it happen. And you will choose the person or group you want as your wild card pick... Reading your comments tonight made me realise we should do this. It seems like the fairest thing to do."
