It’s a Boy for Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez; Top Things to Know [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
Newly wed celebrity couple, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez, welcomed their first child together. A kicking boy was born a little brother for 5-year-old Nahla.
Berry and Martinez haven’t revealed the name of the new born.
Nahla’s younger brother was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angles, Saturday, Oct. 5.
Citing a report by People Magazine, the Los Angeles Times says that Nahla already visited her younger brother.
"Nahla visited her baby brother earlier today," a source said, according to LA Times.
The newborn baby is Halle’s second child and first with Martinez. Nahla is Halle’s child to model Gabriel Aubry.
With the new baby, critics raise concerns whether this will create more problems for Berry. It will be recalled that the “Monster’s Ball” star has had bitter custody battle with Aubrey in 2011, which even cost her a role in the romantic-comedy “New Year’s Eve.” Berry turned down the role in the film for fear that she would not be able to attend to court hearings on custody for Nahla against her former lover.
Berry has since reached an agreement with Aubrey and the actress later married Martinez.
Speaking about her pregnancy in April 2013, the 47-year-old actress told CNN she was taken aback having her second child.
"This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth," the "X-Men" said, according to the LA Times.
"I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful," she added.
Berry and Martinez met on the set of “Dark Tide,” and they have been inseparable since then. They sealed the deal in a secret, quickie wedding in France in July 2013.
