Three more individuals have been charged over the execution-style killing of Odin Lloyd, allegedly orchestrated by former New England Patriots star, Aaron Hernandez. These include his fiancée, Sheyanna Jenkins, cousin Tanya Singleton and Carlos Ortiz.

Jenkins was slapped with perjury while Singleton was charged with “conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact.” Ortiz, a known accomplice of Hernandez was also indicted with accessory to murder after the fact.

The Bristol County (Mass.) made the ruling Friday as announced by District Attorney Sam Sutler.

The court convicted the Patriots footballer with first-degree murder for devising the plan to murder Lloyd. The victim’s body was found in a park in North Attleborough, Mass., located approximately one mile away from Hernandez’s house on June 17.

Following an intensified investigations by prosecutors and local police authorities, the roles played by his cohorts to cover up the murder were scrutinized and they were indeed found as key players and accessories to the Lloyd killings.

Ernest Wallace

Ernest Wallace, Hernandez’s primary accomplice was already charged with “accessory after the fact of murder.” He was earlier named by the case’s key witness as the man who accompanied Hernandez at the industrial park to kill Lloyd. He was seen getting out of the car with Hernandez before shots had been fired and heard.

Tanya Singleton
Tanya Singleton has already been serving time since Aug.1. Singleton is said to be the one to buy ticket for Wallace to move from Georgia to Florida one week following the killings.

Shayanna Jenkins
Investigators focused their interest in Jenkins while looking for the murder weapon. While authorities still have not located any weapon, they hit Jenkins with what she knows about the murder.

Investigators put forward evidence proving that Jenkins has knowledge on the Lloyd murder with documents showing that Hernandez instructed his fiancée to get rid of the firearms through phone conversation and text messages.

Citing court records, the New York Daily News noted Jenkins’s participation in the murder case. She was seen as the key player who led to the disappearance of the murder weapon. The surveillance camera footage from their home in Mass. showed Jenkins leaving their basement at 1:15 p.m. on June 18. The footage showed Jenkins carrying a trash bag, containing what authorities described as “rigid object.” She was seen placing the trash bag in the trunk of a red Nissan Sentra. Video evidence also showed Jenkins coming back to the house 35 minutes later. She was seen opening the trunk again, only there was no longer the trash bag carrying the rigid object.

Carlos Ortiz
He played key witness in the Lloyd killings. Authorities charged him with case outside of the murder case. He was slapped with possession of illegal firearms. But the charges were used by authorities as leverage to get him to talking.

As expected he cooperated with the police. He gave out all the details that may have pinned down Aaron Hernandez and his cohorts. Though his story changed recently, prosecutors asserted that this has not weakened their case against the Patriots’ footballer.

Hernandez was arrested at his house on June 26. All his three accomplices have reportedly not pleaded guilty on the charges they were hit with. The Patriots footballer is expected in court again on Oct. 9.
