“The X Factor Australia” has recruited Guy Sebastian back! The Channel Seven talent show also American rocker Chris Isaak and English singer-songwriter James Blunt. The trio will join Dannii Minogue and replace outgoing judges Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Redfoo and Ronan Keating.

It was previously reported that three of the four judges wouldn’t come back to the show anymore. Natalie was announced as the replacement for disgraced X Factor New Zealand judge Natalia Kills earlier this year, while Ronan and Redfoo are busy with their respective endeavours.

For the 2015 season, the competition program is bringing back Guy, who was a judge for three seasons from 2010 to 2012. He was the mentor of seasons 3 and 4 winners Reece Mastin and Samantha Jade. After he left, Redfoo took his seat.

The first ever “American Idol” winner, who is also the country’s representative to the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, is excited to be back in the show. “I’ve won twice so they better be ready because I’m back and ready to go for my third win!”

Chris, on the other hand, has never been a judge at any reality talent show, but he is an avid viewer. The actor/singer/songwriter revealed he has watched a lot of episodes of “The X Factor,” and he can’t wait to be part of the Australian edition.

“I know it’s a show with a history of articulate intelligent jduges, and I know they wanted to change that up so they called me,” he quipped. “I have watched the show at home and rooted for my favourites, now I will be doing pretty much the same thing... only I will comb my hair and put on a clean shirt. I’m ready!”

James isn’t exactly new to the show. He assisted Dannii during the home visit segment earlier in season six. And now, the “You’re Beautiful” hitmaker, who is also unofficially Twitter’s funniest celebrity, will be joining Dannii in the judges’ panel, but this time as a fellow judge.

“The most fun I can imagine in the best country in the world,” the 41-year-old star described his new role. He also announced his assignment on his Twitter.

No word on when the 2015 season will launch. The statement only said the auditions will be “starting soon.”
