'Wizards of Waverly Place's' David Henrie Disses Miley Cyrus: 'Sticking Out Tongue Isn’t Cute’

All thanks to Miley Cyrus, almost everyone poses in photos with their tongue sticking out. The habit the "We Can't Stop" singer started certainly is infectious. While some may think the pose is cute, "Wizards of Waverly Place" star, David Henrie says otherwise.

Miley Cyrus has been sticking out lately especially that of her tongue. Since the debut of her "We Can't Stop" music video, she too "can't stop" sticking her tongue out for photos. In Cyrus' many red carpet photos, the tongue never seems to be found inside her mouth. While some fans love the crazy look, not everyone finds it cute.

"Wizards of Waverly Place" star David Henrie found it downright disgusting. In a Twitter post, Henrie slammed people posing with their tongues out like Miley Cyrus. He went on to claim it was anything but cute.

"Girls. This whole sticking ur tongue out in photos thing? There's NO cute way 2do that. Believe me. I'm bout to start walking around w soap," tweeted Henrie.

This could also be an indirect diss to Miley Cyrus who had started the trend. Henrie isn't the first star to diss Cyrus' antics. Fans may recall that during the red carpet premiere of "The Getaway," Gomez was caught sticking her tongue out in a hilarious pose for the press. Rumours immediately popped out from the web stating Selena had dissed Miley in the photo.

A number of fans seem to agree with David Henrie's sentiments. In a post by Ocean Up, users started to comment on Henrie's latest tweet. The comments are as follows:

"The kissy/duck face isn't cute, the tongue hanging out isn't cute nor is throwing up the middle finger in pics cute," says user Marina & My Diamonds.

"Miley, if you're gonna stick out your tongue all the damn time, the least you can do is clean it! Oral hygiene, please!" added user Lily.

"He is extremely sexy and makes a valid point. The whole tongue thing isn't sexy. Neither is the twerking, duck face, and acting like someone you're not," says user RedneckAtHeart.

David Henrie surely made a point with his tweet. Hopefully, Miley Cyrus does something about it. If not, the least she could do is clean her tongue before posing for photos with it sticking out.
