Fans of TV series "White Collar" and actor Matt Bomer can now mark the calendar! USA Network officially announced on Thursday through a press release the premiere date of "White Collar" Season 5 on October 17 at a new time slot of 9 p.m. with a couple of episode titles revealed.

"White Collar" Season 5 will be aired with a new episode every Thursday night throughout the fall season. The announcement highlighted the change of "White Collar's" usual Tuesday schedule since January 2010.

Furthermore, the press release revealed that "White Collar" Season 5 comedy-drama series will pick up from the Season 4 finale story. FBI Agent Peter Burke, portrayed by actor Tim DeKay, was arrested for the murder of Senator Pratt which he did not commit.

The upcoming season's storyline will focus on actor Matt Bomer, who portrays conman Neal Caffrey, doing his best in proving Agent Burke's innocence including a deal that he will make with the "devil." The revelation now connects with the previous spoiler news about "Supernatural" actor Mark Sheppard reprising his role of con artist Curtis Hagen.

"White Collar's" pilot episode showed the FBI Agent sending Mr Hagen to prison. This time, Neal Caffrey will be asking for Curtis Hagen's help in keeping Peter Burke safe during imprisonment but will have a difficult time doing it.

Additionally, it has been confirmed at the press release that regular cast members Tim DeKay and Willie Garson, who portrays the eccentric character Mozzie, will direct some episodes in the latest season of "White Collar." SpoilerTV reported on Thursday, August 15, the titles to the first two episodes of Season 5 where Episode 1 is called "The Boys Are Back" and Episode 2 will be "My Man Caffrey."

The Season 5 premiere episode will feature some relationship disagreement between Peter Burke and his wife, Elizabeth, who actress Tiffani Thiessen portrays. Entertainment Web site E!Online claimed a woman from Agent Burke's past will appear and make things more complicated between the married couple.

"White Collar" Season 5 may only run with 13 episodes, but the entire cast and crew are working hard for the TV series return on October 17. Latest photos of actor Matt Bomer were shared on social networking sites like Twitter and Tumblr as proof that "White Collar" filming in New York City is still ongoing.
