'What About Love' Singer Austin Mahone Shares Love For Girlfriend Becky G, Possible Music Collaboration

Austin Mahone does not care if his fans are treating him like a heartthrob, because he has his eyes only trained on his new girlfriend, Becky G. The “What About Love” singer even revealed that he and Becky will present a collaboration soon.

Speaking with E News, Mahone shares that as of now, his heart is very well taken by Becky G., if his recent posts on his Instagram were an indication. His latest posts showed them having a lot of fun hanging out together. The thing with Mahone is that he does not shy away from sharing on his social media. He even admitted that he loves social media, because of its power to connect with his fans. Asked though what about Becky G. that got him so hooked, Mahone said that the main reason is that both of them have a lot of similar interests, so a deep connection was possible. He shared that the thing he loves so much about his pop star girlfriend is that he can relate to her so much. "It's cool to date someone that does the same thing you do so you can express when you're stressed out about this and that, and they can be like 'I feel you and understand because I'm feeling the same," he said.

Even though the distance between them makes the relationship difficult sometimes, Mahone shared that the two of them exert the effort to make the distance a non-issue. They constantly went on romantic dates, the most recent of which was a surprise trip to the zoo. "She didn't know where she was going, and I was just driving for two hours because this place was super far and she was going crazy in the car wondering where we were going," he detailed. once in the zoo, they were able to pet and hold the animals, including baby tigers, bears, and little monkeys. The “Loving You is Easy” gushed that Becky G. was just too cute on the duration of the zoo date.

The two are so close and comfortable with each other that a collaboration is already in the works. Mahone shared that he wrote and produced a song at his house and he invited Becky G. to record a verse with her. Camila Cabello's ex-boyfriend said he plans to include this on his new album.

When he is not recording a song or going on romantic dates with his girlfriend though, Mahone is busy helping out with societal causes. He recently attended the #InspireIrie Kids Golf Clinic with Miami Heat official DJ, DJ Irie, which was held at the Miami Beach Golf Course on Alton Road in Miami Beach on June 18. The event is designed to inspire at-risk youth to become productive by making mentorship programs, cultural experiences and scholarship opportunities accessible to them.
