Camila Cabelo Says She Has Broken Up With Austin Mahone, Break Up, 'I Need Some Mistletoe Action'
Teenage singer Austin Mahone has been compared to Justin Bieber in many aspects as both the singers rose to fame from YouTube and have an equal amount of female fans too. However it looks like that Austin and Justin's love life too is going to end up in similar fashion. Mahone has split with his girlfriend Camila Cabelo just two weeks after he announced they were dating. Justin Bieber too is no longer reportedly with Selena Gomez.
In the latest issue of Teen Vogue, the 19-year-old acknowledged the fact that he is dating Cabello from the band Fifth Harmony. The singer gushed about how he became friends with Camila despite the fact that he did not have any plans to get into a relationship with anyone. Austin also told the magazine that Camila is an "amazing girl" and they are having "best time" together. Read more about it here.
However, Camila revealed to Kiss FM that she is not dating Austin Mahone and their relationship is over. "We're actually not together anymore. Hey, things happen," said Camila, according to the Kiss FM. "I need some mistletoe action," joked the 17-year-old. Mistletoe is a plant that remains green for all round the year. There is popular belief that couple who kiss under it remain in a relationship forever.
Austin and Camila started seeing each other in October last year but did not come out with any confirmation on their relationship. However Camila confirmed their relationship earlier this month when she appeared on a television program Watch What Happens Live!, writes Just Jared. Camila said that she has known Austin for more than a year now and they started dating when they first met on The X Factor. The singer from Fifth Harmony later Tweeted to her fans saying that though she has only confirmed her relation with Austin now but she was sure her fans "knew already," according Just Jared.
"Mahomies" or fans of Austin Mahone have expressed their disbelief that the singer has broken up with his girlfriend so soon. There are some fans who are of the opinion that Austin will behave like Bieber on social media and they are waiting for him to post a picture of Camila and delete it later (Justin Bieber is famous for doing this).
