Benedict Cumberbatch is currently the most in-demand actor and in recent years, he has seen a phenomenal rise in his popularity. The actor, however, continues to remain an affable and witty man. Cumberbatch recently accepted MTV's challenge to play the 60 sec imitation game. He was asked to do the impressions of as many actors as possible in 60 seconds. The game was created to promote Cumberbatch's latet movie, "The Imitation Game," on MTV's "After Hours."

"Sherlock" actor impersonated 11 fellow celebrities -- John Malkovich, Bane, Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, Owen Wilson, Tom Hiddleston, Matthew McConaughey, Alan Rickman, Michael Caine, Christopher Walken, and Taylor Swift. Taylor was the only woman on the list.

Cumberbatch is portraying the role of a gifted cryptographer Alan Turing who worked at Britain's Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park during the World War 2. He played a key role in unlocking the Nazi's enigma code. However, he later faced charges of gross indecency and was prosecuted for his relationship with another man, Arnold Murray. At the time, gay sex was a criminal offence. Turing committed suicide in 1954. "The Imitation Game" is slated to release on Nov. 28, 2014 in the U.S.

Cumberbatch recently announced that he is engaged to British actor and director Sophie Hunter. He took the good, old-fashioned route to announce to the world that he has got engaged to Hunter. In The Times of London, he published the announcement under the heading: "Forthcoming Marriages."

The announcement opens with Mr B.T. Cumberbatch and Miss S.I. Hunter. It also says, "The engagement is announced between Benedict, son of Wanda and Timothy Cumberbatch of London, and Sophie, daughter of Katharine Hunter of Edinburgh and Charles Hunter of London."

Cumberbatch is expected to return to the set of "Sherlock in Jan. 2015 to shoot a one-off special episode, which is said to be the 2015 Christmas special episode. There is no news on when the filming of the three episodes of Series 4 will begin. It is being speculated that the production of Season 4 may once again get delayed because Cumberbatch has signed on to portray the titular character in the movie "Doctor Strange."
