"Funny or Die" released a video on April 15 revealing that they were behind the viral video in which Dennis Quaid goes berserk. The Youtube channel published a video showing what exactly happened. (Watch the video below.)

"Funny or Die" is an Emmy-winning comedy video website founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. The site is well-known for containing hilarious materials from famous contributors, like Zach Galifianakis, James Franco, Jim Carrey, and others.

The Dennis Quaid viral video has already had more than 2 million hits. The video was "leaked" by a YouTube user Fyq9715. There were many people in social media sites saying that this was a Jimmy Kimmel prank. One YouTube user, Ukibanter99, was pretty sure that this is a Jimmy Kimmel prank. He commented that Jimmy Kimmel "thinks he is so smart, but Kimmel will not get him again."

According to AccessHollywood.com, Kimmel, who is notorious for his pranks, has spoken, denying he had anything to do with it. (Watch the video below.)

The "Funny or Die" video already has more than 75,000 views at the time of this post, with 2,247 likes and 31 thumbs down. The video also has 220 comments with many of the users praising the actor's performance.

YouTube users MichealPercy Jackson, Whitemage Serenia, MikeAM78, SilentHamish, 35sdphoto and Prank Files have posted their opinions of the video. MichealPercy Jackson, Whitemage Serenia, MikeAM78 claim that they knew it was a prank all along. MichealPersy Jackson said that given his age, Quiad would not have done something like this.

On the other hand SilentHamish, 35sdphoto and Prank Files commented that they were fooled by the earlier video. SilentHamish wrote "great job fooling everyone." 35sdphoto commented that he started questioning the personality of one of his favorite actors. He then added that he never felt this good when getting duped.

Other YouTube users just made light of the video. Siljeff wrote that Randy Quaid wishes he could act like that. Arliss Caruso said that she's waiting for Christian Bale's "Funny or Die" video, referring to Bale going ballistic while filming "Terminator Salvation." Pur3Argonian commented that Dennis Quaid was like a "discount Harrison Ford."
