Eminem and Drake ended rumours about their brewing feud after the two rappers performed together Tuesday night on Rap God’s territory in Detroit, Michigan.

Slim Shady surprised Drake’s fans when he shared the stage with the Canadian singer-songwriter, who performed at the Joe Louis Arena as part his “Summer Sixteen” tour.

"Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper to ever get on the motherfucking microphone; he goes by the name of Eminem," Drake told the crowd as he introduced Eminem.

For his part, Marshal Mathers responded, “ Legendary shit tonight.”

“It’s an honor to share the stage with this man right here,” he said, referring to Aubrey Drake Graham.

The two award-winning rappers performed their 2009 joint hit single “Forever.” After the show, both Eminem and Drake took to social media proofs that there is no bad blood between them.

On Facebook, the “Lose Yourself” rapper welcomed the “Views” artist in the Motor City and posted eight photos they have together before and after the Tuesday night gig. He captioned it: “Drake came through Detroit and killed it last night. Thanks for having me.”

Meanwhile, Drake posted several photos on Instagram including a solo photo of Eminem performing on the stage. He even referred to Slim Shady as “the Goat from Detroit.”

Eminem vs Drake rap battle

The Tuesday night gig happened after speculations arose in social media that Eminem and Drake are preparing for a rap battle.

The rumours stemmed from statements made by Hot 97 host DJ Ebro.

"I told Drake that I heard the rumour Eminem was going to gear up to come after him," Ebro said on his morning show.

"He laughed. He was like, 'That’s not gonna happen.' He’s like, 'He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him, too.”

Slim Shady remained silent as debate on “Eminem vs Drake” rap battle became a hot topic on social media. But Drake belied Ebro’s claims.

During his Aug. 4 “Summer Sixteen” tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York, Drake said, “They tellin' lies on Hot 97 and that's how it goes.”

Eventually, Ebro recanted his statements and said on radio, "Drake, you know and I know that the Eminem thing earlier this week was a joke. People took it out of context, ran with it, fine."
