Watch Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez Read Mean Tweets for Segment on Jimmy Kimmel Show [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are among the top celebrities who read mean tweets for a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Show, and they reveal how fans and Twitter followers could be really “mean” even to stars.
The tweets show that no stars are really immune to free expressions by their followers and haters alike, and Kimmel found a way to feature Lovato and Gomez in a special music edition of “Mean Tweets” for his late night show.
The three-minute video features not only Lovato and Gomez but also other celebrities and music artists, including Katy Perry and boyfriend, John Meyer, and rapper, Lil Wayne.
It began with Selena Gomez “hater” explaining, in not too many words why there’s no love for Justin Bieber’s ex.
Selena Gomez: “I hate when people ask me why I hate Selena Gomez, like, I just do.”
Then came Demi Lovato who read the tweet by a fan who did not even got her name right.
Demi Lovato: “That Demi Lovoto song, make it stop. Please.” Yes, the non-fan misspelled Demi’s last name!
The video also showed a fan who admires Katy Perry, at least, to some extent.
Katy Perry: “Katy Perry is the perfect example of fit, but f**king annoying as f**k.”
John Meyer and Lil Wayne also have their shares of mean tweets from not-so loving fans.
John Meyer: “John Mayer looks like a booze soaked turd wrapped in a Dumb and Dumber tux.”
Lil Wayne: “Lil Wayne looks like a crabapple,” read Lil then answered, “I don’t know what a crabapple is.”
