Many women have silicone implants on their areas just to move sizes from Cup A to Cup D, but for Washington teen Brittany Minder, being too buxom proved to be a problem, at least for one night.

Like any teenager. Brittany was looking forward to her senior prom night, so the Central Kitsap High School student even travelled all the way to Canada to find the perfect gown. She did find a blue strapless gown with beads design on the front that would have accentuated her full figure.

However, when she showed up for the prom, Brittany was not allowed to enter.

"In my opinion, I feel that it is because I'm bigger chested and there is more cleavage that you can see, and there's nothing I could really do about that," Brittany said.

The school's rule said the women could wear strapless dressed, but the cleavage, midriff and lower back must be covered. Her parents said they agree with the rules, but felt that their daughter was singled out in applying the cleavage cover aspect.

"All women are not created equal and you cannot compare a golf ball to a grapefruit. It ain't gonna happen," said her mother, Kim Minder.

The school said it had a solution to problems like Brittany's by lending her a shawl to cover her cleavage, but because she felt the cover took away the magic of the night and she felt self-conscious, Brittany only stayed for an hour and left the prom disappointed.

"It was tough being there after all that happened. I didn't feel comfortable. I already had a blow to my self-esteem. I didn't really want to be there anymore," said Brittany who explained that her outfit was designed for females with larger breasts.

Her parents are seeking a public apology from the school.
