Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has been producing high-grossing game titles of late. Most notable titles are “Batman: Arkham Knight” and “Mortal Kombat X,” both of which have generated an impressive amount of sales.

A sales report was made to compare the earnings of the movies and video games of Warner Bros. from each other. The report made by Wall Street Journal notes that the video game arm of Warner Bros. is making up for the somewhat weak performance of the movies produced by the company. Warner Bros. told Wall Street Journal that both “Batman: Arkham Knight” and “Mortal Kombat X” have surpassed the five million marks in terms of copies sold.

Comin at a close third is “Lego: Jurassic World,” which has sold over four million copies worldwide.

The sales report takes into consideration all the sales made by each console version of the stated games. The numbers are impressive, considering a few hurdles along the way.

“Mortal Kombat X” is available only to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC owners, as the previous gen versions of the game were cancelled due to development issues. Despite being sold to only three consoles, the game still did well in terms of sales.

“Batman: Arkham Knight” on the other hand suffered a faulty PC launch. The PC version of the game was rendered unplayable due to countless bugs and issues. Warner Bros. had to eventually pull out all copies of the game from both online and physical retailers. The game is still considered as broken till date.

Recently, Warner Bros. announced that “Batman: Arkham Knight” will once again be available for purchase by the end of October, Gamespot reports. However, the developer is still working on fixing a few bugs and glitches and the game is expected to come out in better version on the target re-release date.
