The new “The Walking Dead” Season 6 walkers are looking at their disgusting best. AMC’s hit zombie show is set to return with brand new and nasty walkers in a new season this October.

The new photos featuring the walkers are from the “The Walking Dead” Season 6 trailer launched at San Diego Comic-Con. The photos showcase the details of the zombies. Check out the photos, here.

Earlier, showrunner Scott M. Gimple talked to Entertainment Weekly about “The Walking Dead” Season 6. Gimple was asked if Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) would take control of Alexandria Safe-Zone.

“As I was working on the finale, it was just very interesting to me that the stakes weren’t that Rick was going to be kicked out, but oh, is Rick going to have to kill a lot of people? The onus was completely on him, but in the end he found a way, and providence found a way, that he could demonstrate to these people what they need to do and who he really is.”

Gimple said that Rick seems to be in a “terrific position” and he can make the people of Alexandria understand his way of thinking. However, he also mentioned that Rick would face obstacles too in this process.

Rick killed Pete in “The Walking Dead” Season 5 and according to Gimple, the act would complicate things between Rick and Jessie. It would be interesting to see if Jessie distances herself from Rick or come close to him.

“The Walking Dead” Season 6 is set to introduce new characters from the comic book. Heath, portrayed by Corey Hawkins, is one of the characters to be seen in the new season.

“The Walking Dead” Season 6, episode 1 airs Oct. 11, 2015 on AMC. Stay tuned for more updates, spoilers and news. Share your views in the section below.
