After the emotional Battle rounds, “The Voice” coaches Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton each has eight artists representing their teams for the Knockout rounds.

So far, 16 artists were eliminated from the NBC’s singing talent search after failing to impress the four coaches during their duets. Meanwhile, eight singers switched teams after being stolen by a different coach.

For the Knockout rounds, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will mentor all the contestants under four teams. Only 16 out of the 32 hopefuls will move on to perform on “The Voice” 2016 Live Playoffs.

According to Keys, the Knockouts are more difficult than the Battle rounds.

“The artists pick their own songs. If they don’t sing the right songs, they could go home,” she said.

“The Knockouts are tough because you’re showing basically who you are and coaches are cutting our teams by half again. Now is the time for everyone to step it up,” Levine added.

“This round, we only have one steal so I have to be very selective on who I want to bring into my team,” Cyrus pointed out.

“The Voice” airs every Monday and Tuesday night in the US on NBC. Newbie coach Miley Cyrus will be skipping the next season as former coach Gwen Stefanie returns to the reality show. (Read: Miley Cyrus sits out as Gwen Stefani returns on ‘The Voice’ Season 12)
