Adele dropped “Hello” on Oct. 23, about a month ahead of the official release of her new album “25” under XL Recordings. The new album's first single was a smashing hit within hours, with its music video pulling in nearly 475 million views in just a month. The Brit singer later broke the internet (again) with an acapella version of "Hello" on a recent SNL performance.

With so much hype and praise around "Hello," covers of the song have naturally also amassed their own followings on YouTube, with popular videos garnering millions of views within days.

One of the most recent “Hello” covers was released barely four days ago by performer Leo Moracchioli, who gave the song a metal touch. Like the other “Hello” cover artists before him, Moracchioli is on his way to reaching the million-mark on YouTube.

Conor Maynard, who won MTV’s Brand New in 2012, has over five million views for his “Hello” cover. South Korean student Lydia Lee, from Seoul Music High School, was even invited to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for her viral cover, which now has nearly 14 million views (counting out other uploads).

Adele recently performed “Hello” and her follow-up “When We Were Young” live on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. The Nov. 21 SNL episode hosted by Matthew McConaughey reportedly made historical ratings, thanks to the celebrated music artist. The song has had a strong impact worldwide, making it possible for many aspiring music artists to share in the limelight. Welcome back, indeed, Adele!

Here’s a snippet of the lyrics of Adele’s “Hello”:

Hello from the other side
I must've called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry, for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry, for breaking your heart
But it don't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore
