'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 11 Synopsis Released, Unexpected Visitor Ruins Damon's Plan To Save Elena From Kai
The synopsis for the upcoming new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 has been released to tease the millions of fans with the exciting events that will happen when the CW TV series returns from its long holiday break. In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 11 titled "Woke Up With a Monster," the Mystic Falls gang will be dealing with the issues that happened in the mid-season finale episode titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes."
The episode synopsis revealed that Kai (Chris Wood), who is now "more powerful than ever," will learn how to control the magic that he absorbed from the Traveler's anti-magic border spell on Mystic Falls while holding Elena (Nina Dobrev) captive as part of his evil plan. Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) will find out that Kai kidnapped Elena so he will be working on a plan to save his lady love.
However, the synopsis teased that an unexpected visitor will ruin Damon's plan of saving Elena. The situation will force the Salvatore vampire to rethink his strategy when it comes to rescuing Elena.
The other details on the released episode synopsis include Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) preparations on the Gemini coven's twin merge and Caroline's (Candice Accola) search for the cure that can save her mom, Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre). When it comes to Jo's preparations for the twin merge ceremony with Kai, Liv (Penelope Mitchell) and Alaric (Matt Davis) will be helping.
However, the synopsis revealed that Liv and Alaric will quickly realize that Jo may not be able to defeat Kai because she is weaker than they thought. As for Caroline, the worried daughter will go to North Caroline with Stefan (Paul Wesley) to find a cure for cancer.
Aside from helping Caroline search for a cure, Stefan has his personal reasons for heading to North Carolina. The younger Salvatore sibling will be caught off guard when Enzo (Michael Malarkey) shows up at the location to find out what he is hiding there.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 returns with episode 11 titled "Woke Up With a Monster" on Thursday night, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
