Viewers are excitedly getting ready for the thrilling events that will happen in the brand new episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5. One of them involves the witch Bonnie Bennett and actress Kat Graham who portrays the character teases the fans about more intense onscreen chemistry with co-star Steven R. McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert.

TVD fans are now curious on what will happen next with Bonnie after her epic sacrifice for Elena's younger brother, Jeremy, in the finale of Season 4. According to the TV Guide report, Jeremy Gilbert will be the only person to know about Bonnie's death when the CW TV series return for a new season this October.

The report further adds that Bonnie's current situation will even bring her closer to Jeremy. "Bonnie's death creates this intense intimacy, even as a friend, that they never had before. There were always distractions and they weren't ever forced to always just 'be.' You'll see a lot of us working together early on in the season," Ms Graham revealed as a teaser to the waiting TVD fans.

However, it is still uncertain if Kat Graham's witch character comes back from the "Other Side" but fans can hope that it can happen in a Mystic Falls-kind-of-way soon. The Wetpaint report on Bonnie's fate in the TV series reads: "Bonnie is very lucky that Jeremy has that whole 'seeing dead people' problem. With Kat saying that she and Steven's characters will work closely 'early' in the season, it sounds like she might be coming back to life, gaining the ability to interact with the rest of the cast! Our fingers are crossed."

Aside from Bonnie Bennett and Jeremy Gilbert playing central roles in the upcoming TVD Season 5, fans will still be looking forward to what the other characters can bring to the favorite fantasy-drama series. Elena Gilbert and Caroline Forbes will be heading to college and start a new life with a lot of opportunities, friends, parties, enemies and even new love interests.

Additionally, the evil doppelganger Silas is expected to escalate the excitement in Season 5 as well as the appearance of the now-turned-human Katherine Pierce. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, October 3, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW network.
