The speculation for a "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast continues especially with a 3D sketch of Christian Grey already viral on the web. Alex Pettyfer and Chris Evans were among two of the celebrities who had a striking resemblance to the sketch. "Vampire Diaries" Matt Davis too had his fair share of resemblance. Given Ian Somerhalder is also the top contender for the role, who'd be the better vampire for the role: Matt Davis or Ian Somerhalder?

Universal Studios and Focus Features are currently focusing on finding a suitable director for "Fifty Shades" film. On the other hand, casting let alone auditions for the lead roles have yet to begin. This of course has led fans of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel to take casting into their own hands.

Countless lists with hundreds of potential stars for the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele have flooded the web. Celebs such as Emilia Clarke, Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel have been named possible actors to play the lead roles.

Now, all thanks to a 3D sketch released by Dr Skelton from the University of Central Lancashire, the hype for Christian Grey casting continues. The 3D sketch of Grey greatly resembles Hollywood stars such as Alex Pettyfer, Matt Davis and Chris Evans. While Alex and Chris bode alright with some fans of "Fifty", Matt Davis has been the most popular given his physical features greatly resemble the sketch.

"Of all the dudes, probably the most well-adapted (and most closely resembling the sketch) is Matt Davis. The actor from 'Legally Blonde' and 'Vampire Diaries' would be a surprisingly good choice for the role, given his previous work and, well, his looks. Cockiness is key here, my dudes. Sure, he may not look like he's going to physically harm you in some weird-sexual way when he has his way with you, but this movie is probably not going to be X-Rated, or even NC-17, so, you know, concessions must be made!" reports MStars.com.

Of course, a few "Vampire Diaries" stars would contest claiming Matt's co-star, Ian Somerhalder is still the perfect Christian Grey. Earlier last week, Somerhalder announced filming on a new movie of which fans had expected to be "Fifty Shades." Yet, the movie was none other than "Time Framed" and fans agree that Somerhalder's new mini-series could certainly serve as a screen test for the role of Grey.

So, who between Ian Somerhalder and Matt Davis of "Vampire Diaries" would make a better Christian Grey?
