Kristen Stewart of "Twilight" became the Hollywood "It" Girl overnight following the success of the vampire-themed flick. With the "Twilight" saga having ended last year, is "Vampire Academy" the next flick to get people blood-thirsty for more? Judging from the trailer, it's got more than just fighting but a little bit of sex to which lead star, Zoey Deutch, happily talked more about.

"Twilight" still has a bit of an impact today with its' lead stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, caught in a messy break-up. Given such scandal, it's the perfect opportunity for Richelle Mead's best-selling YA novels, "Vampire Academy," to make its mark.

The film adaptation has already begun for the first book in a series of six. "Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters" will soon hit cinemas nationwide by February of 2014. The film stars "Beautiful Creatures" Zoey Deutch, but this time around, she's not another blonde bully.

Zoey Deutch plays the lead role of Rose Hathaway, a half-human and half-vampire sworn to protect her Moroi princess and best friend, Lissa Dragomir, played by Lucy Fry. Some critics named the film the next "Twilight," but fans state otherwise. Apart from the fact that their vampires don't sparkle, the lead protagonist is anything but a helpless love-struck female.

Apart from the kick-ass scenes Zoey Deutch stars in, Zoey opened up on the more steamy parts of the film. In an interview with MTV, Deutch explained why fans of the "Vampire Academy" series are so hyped for the sex scenes involving Rose Hathaway (Zoey Deutch) and Dimitri Belikov (Danila Kozlovsky).

"That's because he's so hot and steamy," stated Rose about Danila, adding, "What do I say? I'm naked!"

"No, not at all because I can't express to you - Danila, who plays Dimitri, the naked one there on his back, everyone should be like him. He is one of the greatest people I've ever met, so he has worked on a lot of films where he's had to do much more, um, intimate things than that. And he's very giving - that sounds wrong -, he was very respectful of me in the process, and it's fine 'cause we're such close friends," continued Zoey.
