The United States Women’s National Team and goalkeeper Hope Solo has officially added Marshawn Lynch to their growing list of supporters as they set to battle top rank Germany in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

Solo, who played soccer at the University of Washington and a Richland, Washington native, received a shirt from NFL star and Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch aka ‘Beast Mode’. Before Friday night’s match against China, Solo and Midfielder Lori Chalupny proudly sported the ‘Lady Beast’ shirts from Lynch as per Goal.com.

The USWNT goalkeeper and two-time Olympic gold medalist posted a picture with Chalupny in social media platform twitter displaying the customized shirt from Lynch. The 29-year-old running back out of Oakland, California has made a habit of supporting famous teams including the 2015 NBA champions Golden State Warriors. Lynch, owner of Beast Mode clothing line, was spotted in the Warriors’ championship parade earlier in June.

Solo has been USWNT’s key defender in the world cup and has been doing so since 2000 when she joined the national team. The 33-year-old veteran, who only allowed a single goal in this year’s tournament, has been the responsible defensive anchor in USA’s bid for this year’s world cup.

However, Jill Ellis’ team will see the same skill set of Hope Solo in German goalkeeper Nadine Angerer, who recently propelled Germany over France saving the last shot to win the penalty shootout. USA’s defence will be tested once they meet the offensive juggernauts on Tuesday’s exciting semifinal round.

Solo and teammates may need to release their inner beast mode to overcome Germany, who scored an outstanding 20 points in its past five matches. While the semifinals battle boasts two teams in the top rankings, the focus will go down with both teams testing each other’s goalkeeper.
