Paris Saint-Germain will look to acquire Brazilian football star Neymar in 2016 with a massive offer of £134 million claims French newspaper Le Parisien.

The Ligue 1 champions are penciled to replace Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who’s contract is up next summer, with speculations that Neymar had a disagreement with his manager Luis Enrique. PSG is expected to spend big next summer when they are set free from being caged in Union of European Football Associations’ Financial Fair Play Rules. PSG was fined £50 million last year for not adhering to FFP policy.

Reports from Le Parisien via barcablaugranes.com says that France powerhouse PSG looks set to pay the full buyout clause of Selecao star Neymar’s contract, which costs €190 million and expires in 2018. If PSG buys him out, they would only need to deal in how to convince the 23-year-old Brazilian to move to Paris. However, with Neymar publicly expressing his desire to remain in Barca for many years with the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, it is unlikely that Neymar will move to PSG given that the he had just played a key role in Barcelona’s winning season.

PSG are also reported to chase after Manchester United’s Angel Di Marti this summer, but bosses at the French club plans to avoid fresh UEFA sanctions via straight swap with United for Uruguayan international striker Edinson Cavani. United was reportedly interested in the 28-year-old striker and a swap will more likely be possible.

Meanwhile, Neymar-less Brazil was ousted in the Copa America after losing from a 4-3 penalty shootout against Puruguay. Neymar was given a four-game ban after he appeared to head-butt Colombia’s Jeison Murillo in their group march of the tournament. The Brazilian superstar’s other two game suspension will carry over to the 2018 World Cup qualifying match.
