Samsung Electronics Co Ltd is emerging as a major player in its local debt market, buying more South Korean-issued bonds as it juggles a $60 billion cash pile. Samsung's push into private bank debt and government bonds underscores the challenges faced by the electronics giant in managing its massive cash holdings, with local banks reluctant to overload on short-term deposits from Samsung. Samsung was releasing a slew of devices in 2014 starting with the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab S, Galaxy K Zoom, Galaxy S5 Mini and Galaxy S5 Active, to name a few. Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Alpha will be unveiled in September/October time frame. However the company is not stopping here, apparently, the brand new "Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3" will also be released soon. The initial launch could be in India followed by other regions.

A mobile retailer in India based out of Mumbai has already listed the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3. Interestingly, the same retailer leaked the Galaxy Ace NXT prior to the official announcement date. With credible history, the Galaxy S Duos 3 release might as well be true, according to GSM Arena.

Surprisingly, the upcoming dual-SIM variant Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 is tied to a similar model number as the Galaxy Ace NXT. Apparently, the model number SM-G313H pertains to the Galaxy Ace NXT, while the reported model number of the Galaxy S Duos 3 is SM-G313HU. Therefore, the specifications and features of the aforementioned devices are reportedly similar. Nevertheless, there is no information available to ascertain the importance of the last letter "U" on the new device's model number.

The Galaxy S Duos 3 will feature a modest 4-inch TFT display bundled with 480 x 800 pixels screen resolution. The device will be powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. However the exact information on the SoC is not known at this point. This handset will be backed by a meagre 512MB of RAM. Furthermore, it will run on Android OS v4.4 KitKat.

When it comes to built-in memory, the smartphone will come equipped with 4 GB of internal storage capacity with microSD card support for further expansion. The Galaxy S Duos 3 will also sport a 5 MP rear-facing camera unit with LED flash coupled with a VGA shooter at the front. In addition, this entry-level phone will support FM radio.

Also, this handset will support Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and 21 Mbps HSDPA connectivity. The phone will come equipped with a 1,500 mAh battery unit. As far as the pricing goes, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 is priced at INR 8,590 that roughly translates to US$141, AU$152 and £85.

The key difference between the Galaxy Ace NXT and the Galaxy S Duos 3 is better specification pertaining to the primary camera in the upcoming device. While the new device is expected to house, a 5 MP camera is the Ace NXT that comes with a 3.15 MP snapper. However, the upcoming device's processor is clocked at 1 GHz whereas the Galaxy Ace NXT's Cortex-A7 processor is clocked at 1.2 GHz.
