With the upcoming Apple iPhone 6 release date, many reports in the recent past have claimed the existence of NFC from NXP Semiconductors in the upcoming device. Notably, Apple has stayed away from NFC for many years. However, we now have information on the iPhone 6's other key specifications. This includes LTE support, resolutions for both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch variants, confirmed RAM specifications and a brand new mobile payment deal.

Feld & Volk, the famous iPhone vendor, posted several images of the upcoming iPhone 6 showcasing the NFC support; however, other internal parts were obscured. Despite this, a small segment of the text was spared unintentionally, revealing the details printed on the LTE modem. This confirms Qualcomm MDM9625 LTE Modem on the iPhone 6, according to MacRumors.

Apparently, the MDM9625 falls under Cat. 4 LTE modem that can support speeds up to 150 Mbps. In comparison, the iPhone 5 series of phones that come equipped with MDM9615 Cat. 3 modem supports up to 100 Mbps. Therefore, Apple might not be using the much-powerful Qualcomm MDM9635 Cat. 6 modem. It is worth noting that Samsung Galaxy Alpha is expected to come with the aforementioned killer modem.

Apart from the modem confirmation, a set of photos and video from the same source, Feld & Volk, portrayed a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model that was loading "Connect to iTunes" recovery mode. Basing his observation on the leaked info, developer Steven Troughton-Smith opines that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will feature a 1,334 x 750 screen resolution along with 326 ppi pixel strength, reports MacRumors. In addition, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model will reportedly come with 2,208 x 1,242 resolution with a much-sharper 3x factor when compared to the existing 2x Retina displays, says Apple blogger John Gruber.

Thanks to the same source, a new image showcasing the logic board of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 has confirmed the 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM on the Apple A8 chipset.

Last but never the least, Apple's tryst with mobile-based payment feature seems to have gained momentum. If reports are true, the company has struck a deal with American Express to initiate mobile-based payments. Apparently, AMEX is one of the many payment partners Apple must hammer out deals in order to establish its brand new payment system. Moreover, this announcement will be made on iPhone 6 launch date scheduled for Sept. 9 event.
