A UFO allegedly abducted a car on the streets of North Dakota in the United States. A surveillance camera video purports to show the act that has led to the rise of speculations. Several media outlets continue to wonder whether the video is real or a hoax.

The one-minute-and-13-seconds video, titled "UFO Ovni-Car Gets Abducted In Cavalier, North Dakota," was posted on video-sharing website YouTube.com on Nov. 7, 2014 on The Paranormal Frequency channel. A brief description attached to the video describes that the video was captured by security camera of the place called Cavalier in North Dakota.

The video shows the car in motion, driving in an isolated street of Cavalier. According to Headlines and Global News, few seconds later, a "flash of light" appears to be descending from the sky. In a jiffy, the car seemingly "vanishes" from the road. The publication notes that the video went viral and has garnered "mixed" opinions. It has been viewed more than 480,000 times (as on Nov. 10).

It is reported that some believe in the story, while others think that car's disappearance could be attributed to a technical fault in the camera and "professional video editing."

Meanwhile, Examiner notes that viewers have varying explanations to offer about the occurrence. Some suggest that it could possibly an act of "teleportation" or "alien abduction," referring to Steven Spielberg's movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

However, the website notes that the video could very well be nothing but a "fake," fabricated with some "special effects and a re-ran time counter." More possibilities suggested by the publication are that the "vehicle actually disappeared - in a blinding flash of light" or a technical glitch. However, these are mere speculations and nothing is confirmed.

This is not the first time when such a video has emerged and raising questions about its credibility. In the month of October, Metro UK reported that a video purports to show that a "saucer-shaped" spacecraft was following a passenger plane flying in the skies above Seattle. Another instance was reported by Huffington Post UK wherein a passenger captured UFO flying underneath their airplane while flying in Iranian skies. Many such instances of UFO sightings have surfaced and scientists are constantly looking for answers to solve such mysteries.
