"Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey has officially called it quits with fiancé Seana Gorlick. The two who have been childhood friends were engaged for more than year; however, they ended their relationship for unknown reasons.

The news of break-up was confirmed by Posey. "We have broken up," he told US Weekly at the ASPCA Cocktail Event. Posey also said that he gets "sad" when he talks about it. Posey popped the question of marriage to Seana in the summer of 2013 during their Hawaii vacation, according to the reports by the website. That time Posey had revealed that he was "quite nervous" while proposing for marriage but Seana's reaction was the "sweetest thing in the world."

Moreover, Tyler and Seana are not friends anymore. The actor said, "I don't know" when asked, "if he is still friends with Seana." No official reason for the couple's break-up has come to fore, but sources have said to Hollywoodlife that that Tyler's burgeoning career could be the reason for the split.

A source suggested to the website that Tyler is giving priority to his career and settling down at this moment is not the best decision for him. "He didn't want to lead her on because he only wants to get married once, and when it is right it is right and the relationship just wasn't right anymore," a source revealed to Hollywoodlife.

Tyler recently hosted the Teen Choice Awards 2014 with "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland. He is a regular on "Teen Wolf" where he plays the character of ScotMcCall. Tyler is the main lead in "Teen Wolf" and has huge fan following. The actor has also guest starred in "The Exes," "Workaholics," and "Punk'd." In 2013, Posey won the Young Hollywood Award in the "Best Ensemble" category along with the other "Teen Wolf's" cast.

The actor is also the main guitarist for the band called "Disappearing Jami." The band gave their first performance at the Roxy in Los Angeles in 2012. Meanwhile, Seana is a make-up artist by profession. The reps of both the celebrities are yet to comment on the rumoured reasons behind their break-up.
