Alistair Overeem is known for his kickboxing skills, which earned him three titles in three organisations: Strikefoce, Dream and K-1. But this didn't stop the underdog Travis Browne into scoring an upset in their co-main event bout in UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen.

The fight seems to go Overeem's way early in the first round when he managed to land a couple of blows on Browne, who covered up to defend against heavy strikes in the body and head, the type which may have made most fighters give up. But kudos to Browne for maintaining his composure and still managing to get up after taking that amount of blows and the referee for having the right decision of not stopping the fight prematurely.

Browne's heart might have saved him early on, but his skills (and can we say his opponent's weak chin?) brought him the victory in the end.

He threw a front kick that landed straight to the chin of the leaning forward Overeem, who instantly went down. Browne followed the kick with hammer fists in the ground that gave the referee no other options but to stop the fight.

The ending may be one of the greatest upsets this year in the UFC. Overeem was on his way for a comeback after being defeated by Antonio Silva in a title-eliminator fight.

Now the question is: what's next for the Reem? Will the UFC cut him after two straight knockout losses? Or shall he be matched up with another upcoming contender?

A match against the very tough and exciting fighter Roy Nelson, who also lost his last fight at UFC 161, seems interesting. Both possess heavy hands and a knockout finish is imminent.

Nelson seems to have a little bit of interest in the fight. A matchup with Overeem would be a great comeback fight for him. "Reem should have known 'Crane Kick' done right no can defend," nelson tweeted.

As for Browne, the win will definitely propel him into title picture. A win against another top opponent will surely line him up as next contender for the heavyweight title belt.
