Paris Saint-Germain, or PSG and Juventus have a 58 million pounds agreement on a probable transfer for Paul Pogba, who is considered one of the best young mid-fielders in the world. Federico Casotti of goal.com was one of the first to report the Pogba news.

“Although PSG has made the first move, personal terms have yet to be agreed while a host of Premier League clubs are primed to rival the French giants,” Casotti shared in the article. “He is seen as the ideal replacement for Yaya Toure at the Etihad Stadium, one of the many ageing City stars set to be axed in the offseason, while Louis van Gaal would also be willing to spend big to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford.”

Casotti added there is no guarantee that Pogba will transfer to PSG and also mentioned that the Frenchman will also be chased by other clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea in the English Premier League.

In the same report, it’s stated that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi have already met with Pogba and Pogba’s representatives. Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta also said that they do not want to sell Pogba. The 22 year old Pogba is from Lagny-sur-Marne, France and going to PSG will bring him back home to France.

Nothing is final in the reported agreement as Pogba must sign off on any deal for a transfer to be made official.

He played in France in his youth career but never in his senior years playing for Manchester United in 2011-2012 and Juventus in 2012. Pogba also suited up for the French soccer national team since 2013 and for the youth team from 2008 to 2012.

Pogba has a career total of 23 goals in 129 club appearances, 18 coming from the last two years with Juventus. Pogba’s young career has netted him various awards including the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup Golden Ball, 2014 FIFA World Cup Best Young Player and the 2014 Bravo Award.
