After one year, Tracy Morgan is still healing from the deadly crash. However, he is a changed man with lots of gratitude for people who cared for him. The actor is still recovering physically and emotionally.

Morgan talked to People about being alive and more. He said that he is at 75 percent and he has his good as well as bad days. He revealed that he just wants to become healthy and get better.

The actor is happy to be back and the best thing about it is to meet his daughter Maven and fiancée Megan Wollover. Morgan stated that he wants to play with her daughter and wants to get married to Wollover. These things are what keeping him going in life, according to the star.

Morgan appeared on Today and talked about his recovery. “There are times where I get the headaches, and the nose bleeds. I won't even let my lady know because I don't want her to be worried about it.”

He mentioned that most of the days he is in physical and speech therapy and a psychologist. He admitted that sometimes he feels a little off and forgets things. However, his doctors tell him that he is getting better and it is a “ray of hope” for him and his inspiration.

Morgan said during the interview that he is happy to be alive. He paid a tribute to his friend and fellow comedian James McNair who lost his life in the crash on June 7, 2014. The comedian said McNair was a close friend and his “comrade in comedy.” He added that he was a loving, warm and a good man.

Morgan promised that he will be back as a comedian as he can’t stop loving her. However, right now his complete focus is on getting better. He said that he will get back to make people laugh.
