Celebrities like ordinary folk enjoy sharing anything and everything on their Facebook and Twitter pages. Of course, with all the A-list celebrities out there, who has been ruling the charts with their incredible hoards of followers?
Everyone loves Twitter and Facebook but of course they only love it more because of celebrities they get to stalk. Here's a list of the top ten social media celebrities with the highest number of followers and likers.
Number on one the list would be RnB princess, Rihanna. The "We Found Love" singer has highest number of Facebook followers with 59 Million. Yet, Rihanna's Twitter followers come short of 23 Million. The Twitter follower count of Rihanna is nothing compared to the "Fame Monster", Lady Gaga, who has over 27 Million followers. However, Lady Gaga falls short with only 52 Million Facebook likes.
Coming in at third place would be rapper, Eminem. Surprisingly, Eminem has over 11 Million Twitter followers and 59 Facebook likes. Canadian crooner, Justin Bieber, falls in at fourth place with over 25 Million Twitter followers and only 45 Million Facebook likes.
"Part of Me" singer, Katy Perry comes in at fifth place with over 23 Million Twitter followers and 45 Million Facebook likes. Katy's celebrity friend, Taylor Swift, who shares the same fondness over cats, has over 23 Million Twitter followers and 45 Million Facebook Likes.
Justin Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, comes in at number seven with over 12 Million Twitter followers and 32 Million Facebook likes. Coming in behind Selena is co-channel star from Disney, Miley Cyrus with only 6 Million Twitter followers and 20 Million Facebook likes.
In at ninth place is reality television star, Kim Kardashian with over 15 Million Twitter followers and 10 Million Facebook likes. Kim's on and off screen beau, Kanye West, comes in at the tenth spot with over 8 Million Twitter followers and 600 Thousand Facebook likes.
August is only beginning which means the number of Twitter followers and Facebook liker for each celebrity may increase or decrease. In the spirit of the "Hunger Games", dearest celebrities "May the odds be ever in your favor."
