Not all celebrities were born with a golden spoon. Many of them were just merely normal types of people who are struggling everyday to even wish to win the lottery at the mega millions. But the only difference that they made is that they never stopped believing in their dreams and they never quit in achieving all that they think they need and want in their life.

Here we feature the top celebrities whom we know has been able to turn their unfortunate life stories around to become the most successful ones in the world.

Oprah Winfrey. Everyone knows how Oprah became the billionaire that she is right now. She was born to a single mum and has been sexually abused when she was just nine. She was pregnant at an early age of 14 but her son died right at birth. She was already 19 when she first got a job as a co-anchor and since then, life became less cruel to her and she was able to star in her own talk show.

J.K. Rowling. She could be everyone's most loved author, just for being the brain behind the hit books of "Harry Potter." She used to be an unemployed single mum who just depends on government help. Her manuscript for "Harry Potter" was rejected a lot of times but the key to her success is that she never gave up, not even once.

Celine Dion. This music belter deserves all the best of life she is having especially with 14 other sibling that she helped raise. She used to perform in tiny unknown clubs just to be able to earn and when she finally got her break, she never let it go and she never stopped singing. Not even the thought of it.

Jim Carrey. He used to be a factory worker for tires and lived in a camper van. He started working at a young age of being a teenager as he worked for a variety of jobs just to help his family. When he reached the age of 16, he left school to finally pursue acting. With his goofy acts, he was able to have an appearance for "The Comedy Store" and became one of the most admired funny men of Hollywood.

Tom Cruise. Not many know that this "Mission Impossible" superstar suffered from the hands of an abusive father and also had dyslexia. This made him poor not just in the pocket but also in class. His mother works for four jobs just to keep up with their needs. He just started in mini school plays.
