TNT Australia has been recognised as the Top Employer for 2016.

The certification comes from the Top Employers Institute which recognises organisations all over the world for providing excellent employee conditions while demonstrating an exceptional HR environment. Such organisations are also certified for developing and nurturing talent as well as continuously improving employment practices.

The Top Employers Institute has been certifying companies for employee conditions since 1991. It follows a fact-based research methodology which is independently audited.

TNT Australia Director Human Resources John Francois reminds that the company is “The People Network.” “We know that investing in our people and supporting them helps us to deliver the best possible service to our customers,” Francois said in a media release.

“We are very pleased to receive the Top Employer certification as we pride ourselves on giving the people within our business the opportunity to reach their potential, both personally and professionally.”

According to Top Employers Institute Global Director Dennis Utter, TNT Australia provides an outstanding employment environment.

“TNT Australia offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions to performance-management programs that are well thought out and truly aligned with the culture of their company,” Utter said.

TNT Australia earlier won Top Employer certification in 2013. The company was certified as the Top Employer for 2016 after it had been assessed in areas like Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Learning & Development and Workforce Planning.

TNT, one of the world’s largest express delivery companies, delivers around one million items on a daily basis. It operates in the Asia-Pacific, the Americas, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

The company operates road and air transportation networks in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. The company reported €6.7 billion (around $11 billion) in revenue in 2014.
